About

AcuThrive Equine is grounded in lifelong horsemanship and understanding the physical demands of hard-working horses.

Lane Nygren has been certified through Animal Therapy Systems (ATS) for Equine and Canine therapy since 2013 and brings over 12 years of hands-on experience using Acuscope and Myopulse technology to support targeted healing, performance, and long-term soundness.

Horses have been a central part of Lane’s life from an early age. Beginning to ride at nine years old, Lane went on to study Equine Science and Business Management in college, followed by years of experience teaching, training, and managing show facilities. With a foundation in the hunter/jumper discipline, Lane brings a refined understanding of the importance of managing the whole horse—carefully balancing nutrition, lifestyle, biomechanics and the physical demands of training and competition. Through extensive involvement in the rehabilitation of sport horses and close collaboration with ATS instructor Tracie Audette, horse owners, and veterinarians, Lane offers a thoughtful, informed approach to equine therapy grounded in experience and professional insight.

Now based in Helena, Montana, horsemanship continues to evolve as they expand into western disciplines. At home, the herd includes Lane’s retired jumper mare, a rehabbed reining horse, her husband’s heel horses, and their sons’ mini horse, Dolly - a daily reminder that every horse, regardless of job or age, deserves thoughtful, precise care.

Through AcuThrive Equine, Lane combines technical expertise, real-world experience, and respect for the horse to deliver therapy that is intentional and deeply informed by life encompassed by horses.

“Acuscope treatments were vital in my horse’s suspensory recovery. I was amazed at how fast the swelling went down and how confident my mare felt when we were able to begin rehab. We continued treatments through rehab and have not had any issues with the injury!” - Owner of 13yr old warmblood mare, doing the 1.10m jumpers
